Employee Related Expenses (ERE)
Benefits provided to employees as a part of the total compensation package at the university include workers' compensation insurance; unemployment insurance; and the employer's portion of Social Security taxes, retirement plan contributions, health/dental insurance and life/disability insurance.
Administrative Service Charge (ASC)
The administrative services charge (8.5%) allows local agency/orgs to share in the cost of university administrative services that benefit local agency/orgs. These services include accounting, affirmative action, budgeting, campus security, facilities planning, fiscal transactions processing, human resources, legal, payroll and purchasing services.
ASC is charged to all expenses that occur on local accounts, with the exception of scholarship transfers, internal ASU charges, and gift accounts
Covers voice and data network services = 1.6% charged as a percentage of payroll that hits your accounts
Risk Management Fee
Liability coverage and property loss = 1% charged as a percentage of payroll that hits your accounts
